We have high standards for our breeding dogs.
The following breeding approval requirements are mandatory for the Windsprite Friends:
- CEA proof
- MDR1 proof
- LÜW Lumbosacral transitional vertebra
- Heart Ultrasound
- DNA parentage verification
- DNA fingerprinting
- Behavioral assessment
- Pedigree

We want to give our puppies a perfect start in life.
That's why our breeders not only advise you before you buy a puppy, but are also available to provide advice after you have bought it.
The breeders of Windsprite Friends deliver their puppies vaccinated, chipped and dewormed, as well as with the following certificates:
- Pedigree
- DNA parentage verification
- CEA proof
- MDR1 proof

Any reputable breeder, stud dog owner, owner or lover of the breed can become a member of the Windsprite Friends.
The breeders of the Windsprite Friends support each other, whether they are new breeders or "old hands". Respectful and friendly interaction between our members is very important to us.
Breeders of Windsprite Friends must provide evidence of at least two training courses per year. We reject breeding in purely indoor settings.
We would like to give something back to those who need our support.
That is why breeders and stud dog owners at Windsprite Friends donate a fixed amount every year to a charitable organization.
In order to promote community and exchange among our members, we have created the virtual "Rudeltalke". We believe that exchanging ideas and supporting each other is essential in order to achieve the best possible outcome in Windsprite breeding.
The Windsprite Friends are a subgroup of the IHR eV and are subject to the statutes and breeding regulations of the IHR eV.
Puppies of the Windsprite friends are entered in the open stud book of the IHR eV and receive a pedigree, bound and forgery-proof.

What do I need to know?
Breeders must be members of IHR eV and the Windsprite Friends.
Stud dog owners and supporting members only need to be members of the Windsprite Friends.
You will receive the Windsprite Friends fee schedule when you become a member.
What does my membership include?
Membership in the Windsprite Friends includes:
- Inclusion in the breeder list
- Announcement of mating and litter reports
- Inclusion in the stud dog list
- Support within the Windsprite Friends
- Participation in events
